We understand from personal experience how challenging it is to make the transition to living sober. So many of us once said, “I am too young to live a boring, monotonous life. Living a meaningful, happy, exciting, and fulfilling life without drugs and alcohol is just impossible.” At Back2Life, the impossible is possible now.
Our sober living program is designed so you will not have to find yourself back at square one, using alcohol and drugs… again. And many of us do exactly that. We go in and out of rehabs and sober living houses, over and over again.
It has been our experience… that many sober living programs offer a safe, structured environment but they do not adequately prepare the residents for living sober in the outside world.
It is our belief… that simply imposing boundaries and regulations upon you as you enter a sober living program will not necessarily produce long-term change… because eventually, you will leave the structured sober living facility.
It is our philosophy… that in order for a sober living program to be effective, we must be more than a safe, supportive place for you while you are here. We must also be a bridge between you and your sober life in the outside world.
That is why, within three weeks of your arrival, you will either be:
-employed
-attending school
-attending an outpatient program
-volunteering
The foundation you will build in Back2Life, the progress you will make in a 12 Step program, and the tools you will acquire to live a balanced sober life put long-term sobriety within your reach.
Our philosophy is based upon the belief that learning to practice the tools of recovery and learning to live a balanced sober life while you are still in a sober living program is your best hope of staying sober once you leave our doors and get Back2Life in the real world.
